Iran gov't, parl't discussing economic issues

'One more time, parliamentarians discussed the economic problems and the solutions with the government ministers for one hour in a closed session,' said Ali Larijani.

Larijani said that the suggestions prepared in the specialized committees are practical in the framework of the law and will be presented to the government.

Iranian lawmakers have started a series of discussions with the government high ranking officials to deal with the country's economic problems. The first session was held on Tuesday with the attendance of Government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht and Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari.

In the second session held on Wednesday, Minister of Agriculture Mahmoud Hojjati exchanged views with the parliamentarians.
