Iran ups non-oil exports to Iraq by 13%

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday, Naser Behzad said exports showed 3% increase in weight compared with the same period last year.

Iran has about 15% share of Iraqi market, he added.

During the first three months of the current Iranian year, Iran exported 3.750 million tons of non-oil products valued over $ 1.7 billion, he noted.

The figure showed 130,000 tons worth $ 200 million growth, Behzad said.

He went on to say that Iraq is the most pioneering export destination for Iranian products.

The most exported goods were plastic, industrial products, crops, dairy products, construction materials, tiles and ceramic, detergents, confectionary and chocolate, tomato paste and car parts.
