Referring to the historical and cultural ties between the two sides, he called for expansion of political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
The Azeri vice speaker of parliament, for his part, said relations between the two nations and officials are very good and expansion of cultural cooperation would help deepen relations between the two sides.
Iran’s Cultural and Arts Exhibition which is to end on July 1 display visual arts including calligraphy, illumination, painting, handicrafts, photos depicting Iran’s tourism attractions and Iranian traditional costumes.
Last year, Isfahan and Ardebil in Iran hosted Azerbaijan Cultural week.
