Markazi province non-oil exports up by 36%

He said that 177,288 tons goods worth dlrs 130.9 million have been exported from the province since beginning of current Iranian year.
Mirashrafi said that value of the export has increased 24 percent in comparison with the preceding period.
He said that the goods were exported to 26 different countries including Afghanistan, Turkey, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Italy, Azerbaijan Republic, Tunisia, Spain, Kazakhstan, France, Georgia, Belgium, Somalia and Sudan.
The customs official reminded that 34,506 tons goods worth dlrs 63.88 million were imported from other countries to the province have increased 31 and 13 percent in terms of weight and value respectively for the same period.
He said that the imported goods were from Italy, Turkey, Germany, China, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Greece, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, France, South Korea, Russia, Brazil, Czech Republic, Kenya and Singapore.
Markazi Province has 12 cities with 1.4 million population and is one of important industrial and agricultural pole of the country.
