Speaker congratulates Berri on successful parliamentary poll

In the message, Larijani wrote 'I am honored and happy to congratulate Your Excellency, Lebanese government and nation on successfully holding of parliamentary elections in that country.

Undoubtedly, such a great success in current sensitive situation will lead to stabilization of security and tranquility in Lebanon and will be a source of disappointment for occupying Zionist regime.

'I take the opportunity to wish health and success for Your Excellency and honor and dignity for Lebanese people,' Larijani said in his message.

Lebanon held parliamentary elections on past Sunday, May 6, 2018 with around 1.85 million people or 49 percent of eligible voters, participating in the polls to sent 128 deputies to the parliament.
