Iran's military capabilities serving regional security, interests

Addressing a ceremony held at the Iranian embassy in Muscat on the occasion of Iran's Army Day, Captain Fatemi said the Islamic Republic's military capabilities would never be used against neighboring countries.

He explained that strengthening military power is among the strategic goals of the Islamic Republic and the country needs no permission from any power in this respect.

The Omani Air Force Commander Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali al-Obaidani was present in the ceremony as the special guest.

During the ceremony, the Muscat-based military attaches invited to the event congratulated Fatemi on the occasion.
