
Talking to Daily Pakistan Rana Sarwar, General Secretary of Pakistan Kabbadi Federation said that the mega event is scheduled to start from May 2 and would culminate on May 10 in Lahore’s Sports Complex near Gaddafi Stadium.
“Players from Sri Lanka, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Malaysia, Japan, Bangladesh, and Kenya have already confirmed their participation,' Sarwar added.
“We are waiting for India’s response to this development as we have also extended an invitation to the neighboring country for Pakistan’s maiden SKL”, he maintained.
Haider Dawood, Chairman Super Kabaddi League, said total eight franchised based teams representing cities of Lahore, Multan, Gujrat, Karachi, Islamabad, Gwadar, Faisalabad and Peshawar will be featuring in the inaugural edition of SKL.
Kabaddi game is very famous in Asia, Europe, and America and it also became a part of Asian Games in 1990.
