
In the Wednesday's meeting, the Iranian envoy highlighted the necessity of cooperation among countries in confronting organized crimes, and called for more ties between the European body and the judicial and academic centers in Iran.
Twenty-eight member countries of the EU are also members of the Eurojust. The Hague-based institute also has technical links with more than 42 countries of the world.
At the meeting, Hamran introduced the institute in details, and declared preparedness to cooperate with Iran in the required fields, such as exchanging judicial delegations and holding training workshops for law students and professors, advocates and other judicial experts in Iran.
Eurojust is an intergovernmental organization that is active in confronting cross-national organized crimes, with the aim of facilitating cooperation among European countries and all other countries in the world that are affected by the crimes.
