Iran, Pakistan can bring peace in region: Senior Pak MP

In an interview with IRNA, President of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said Iran and Pakistan are neighbors and share so many common things in economic, peace and security areas.

“We have to see that what strategy could be adopted for peace in the region and what are the options available to us to enhance economic cooperation,” said the lawmaker.

“Both countries can also play a vital role in bringing sectarian harmony,” he noted.

The religious leader expressing his views said Iran and Pakistan can also make efforts to bring Muslim Ummah on same page.
