Iran speaker condoles martyrdom of border guards

He extended condolences to the bereaved families of the victims, noting that 'Martyrdom of the brave border guards of Chaldoran regiment and the devoted sons of motherland in fight against armed outlaws grieved me.'

Eight Iranian border guards were killed in armed clashes with terrorists in Chaldoran border point in West Azarbaijan province, nortwestern Iran, on Friday evening.

The 550-km Iran-Turkey joint border is located in West Azarbaijan.
