Enemy targeting Iran's economy: Senior Iranian official

'Choosing economic ground for hostility towards Iran is a serious approach taken by the enemy today,' Head of Iran's Civil Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholam Reza Jalali warned in a speech before Tehran's Friday prayer.

'We should get a good understanding of the approach, and the ways to counter the enemy's plot are self-sufficiency, implementing Economy of Resistance and focusing on domestic production,' he added'
