
Jokar who met with Czech president to submit his credentials as Iran’s new ambassador said that volume of the two countries’ trade has increased threefold compared to the figure for 2014, indicating resolve of the two countries’ officials to enhance mutual cooperation.
Iran-Czech diplomatic relations promoted to the level of ambassador from charge d’affaires, concurrent with enhancement of mutual cooperation over the past years. Jokar was appointed as the first Iranian ambassador to the country.
Czech President Milos Zeman, for his part, said that he is opposed to interference in other countries’ affairs, maintaining that economic diplomacy is the best solution to the problems.
He also expressed satisfaction over the increase of the two countries’ economic exchanges by 35 percent in the current year.
Zeman hailed promotion of mutual cooperation, particularly development of diplomatic relations, he said.
