Iran-S Africa joint commission underway in Pretoria

The memorandum of understanding of the 13th Iran-South Africa Joint Commission will be signed in the presence of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his South African counterpart Maite Nkoana-Mashabane.

Participants during the meeting will discuss the implementation process of the existing mutual agreements, as well.

Regarding the fact that the Iranian mission consists of high-ranking traders and businesspeople from private and public sectors, the Iran-South African Business Forum is also underway in Pretoria, where bilateral economic, investment and trade issues are discussed.

Iran's minister of foreign affairs is scheduled to visit South African President Jacob Zuma, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, and Minister of Finance Malusi Gigaba.

Zarif is also expected to meet Iranian expatriates living in South Africa and he will take part in press conferences.
