Aram Ananian made the remarks in a meeting with Archbishop of the Armenians of Isfahan Province Sipan Kechejian.

In Iran's culture, the identity of other nations and religions, including the Armenian society, has been respected, he noted.

'ARMENPRESS' chief pointed to inking of a cooperation document with Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday and said, 'We are keen to elevate the level of relations and exchange of news between the two neighbors.'

The Armenian official had also a meeting with the Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency Mohammad Khoddadi on Saturday.

Khoddadi said during the meeting that IRNA and ARMENPRESS can maintain cooperation not only in exchanging photos, news and videos, but also in developing economic cooperation between two countries.

Both sides also discussed holding joint photo exhibitions and establishing cooperation in technology, artificial intelligence, and social networks.
