Iranian police confiscates over 8 tons of narcotics

Tehran Police Commander Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi made the announcment in a ceremony held to mark Police Week.

He also said crime detection in cyber space had 70% growth during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) compared with the same period last year.

He expressed hope for further security in the capital city of Tehran.
