This is the first time an Iranian top official visits Doha after the dispute between Qatar, on one side, and Saudi Arabia and its allies, on the other.
Prior to visiting Qatar, Zarif on Monday met Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah and Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said al Said in Masqat and discussed bilateral and regional issues.
