
'Such cooperation will lead to exchange of opinions among scientists and researchers,' Ashraf Boroujerdi said in a meeting with cultural and foreign policy advisors of Bulgarian president.
'This collaboration can present the true image of both countries' cultures to their people,' she added.
'Exchanging ideas and science expands and encompasses those who want to be at humanity's service,' Boroujerdi said.
'Cultural interaction is needed to get the people of both countries to know each others' cultures and those who are in charge of cultural affairs in Iran and Bulgaria, including the National Library, have to shoulder this interaction,' she stressed.
'In Bulgaria there are more than 3,500 libraries and Bulgarians pay special respect to books and libraries and cultural institutions as well as libraries are places for spiritual development in Bulgaria,' said the Bulgarian cultural Vice President Irina Grekov.
'Cultural institutions have special places in developing spiritual and cultural ties in Bulgaria and the President's commitments are so strong in cultural and historical events,' Grekov said.
'We are happy that Bulgaria has a special place in Iran's National Library,' she also noted.
