4.8 magnitude quake strikes Kerman Province

According to the Seismological Centre of the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University, the earthquake hit the suburbs of Hojedk in Zarand county about 75 killometers northwest of Provincial city, Kerman, at 23:58:39 on Thursday night.

The epicenter of the quake was 30.73 degrees longitude and 57.4 degrees latitude, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

No death or major damage is reported.

Hojedk, home to 2,915 people, lies 72 kilometers northern Kerman.

مركز اين زمين ‌لرزه در موقعيت 30،73 طول جغرافيايي و 57،4 عرض جغرافيايي گزارش شده است.
اين زمين ‌لرزه در فاصله 39 كيلومتري هجدك، 46كيلومتري شهر شهداد و 49 كيلومتري چترود به وقوع پيوسته است.
تاكنون از خسارات احتمالي اين زمين ‌لرزه گزارشي مخابره نشده است.
شهرهجدك با جمعيت 2 هزارو 915 تن در فاصله 72 كيلومتري شمال كرمان قرار دارد.
