According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 9:29 hours local time (5:59 hours GMT) and in depth of 6 kilometers underground.

Sahneh City by 77,000 populations located in 60 kilometers east of Kermanshah City, capital of western province of Kermanshah.

There is no immediate report on possible casualty or damages.
