Persepolis fans go to streets to show joy after team's victory

On Tuesday night, Iran's Persepolis beat Saudi Arabia's Al Ahli 3-1 (5-3 on aggregate) at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium, UAE, in the Asian Champianships quarter-final second leg.

Persepolis had to go on with the match with 10 men after midfielder Kamal Kamyabinia received a straight red card due to a challenge on Waleed Bakshwan in the 12th minute.

Persepolis will face Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in semi-finals.

The Iranian soccer federation congratulated Persepolis FC in a message on Wednesday morning for entering the 2017 AFC Champions League semi-finals.
