“Oman Air will be adding another destination in Iran, happy to be flying to Mashhad soon,” the Omani airline announced in a post published on its Twitter account on Sunday, Times of Oman reported.
Oman Air had recently added a second daily flight to Tehran following a lasting nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.
Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14, 2015 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran’s nuclear program and started implementing it on January 16.
The comprehensive nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), has terminated all the nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran.
