Lebanese parliament speaker hails Zarif commitment to principles

Berri made the remarks Sunday in a meeting with Zarif.

He expressed happiness over participating in President Hassan Rouhani's inauguration ceremony which was held on Saturday in Tehran.

'We defeated Zionists last year and terrorists this year,' he added.

Meanwhile, Zarf expressed congratulations over Lebanese Army and resistance recent victories against terrorists, saying Lebanese people have always been symbol of resistance for the world.

During the meeting, both sides discussed regional and international issues, including Syria, Iraq, Astana Talks, the Persian Gulf issues and Iran nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
