Anti Iran, Russia, N. Korea bill passed by US House

The part of the bill concerning Iran is partially based on the US claims on Iran's ballistic missiles program.

Washington claims that the missile program is against a UN resolution which endorsed the nuclear agreement signed by Iran and the major world powers.

Tehran, however, says its missile program does not breach UN resolutions because they are solely for defensive purposes and not designed to carry nuclear warheads.

The US bill which will be sent to Senate to be approved requires to be signed by the US President Donald Trump to become legislation.

The package is also targeting Russia for what Washington calls 'meddling in US election' and Moscow 'aggression in Ukraine and Syria'.

It will also hinder any move by the White House to relieve sanctions on Russia.

White House has said that the President would support the tough measures on the three countries.
