Amir Abdollahian, in a telegram post on Wednesday, slammed Bahrain’s recent move to arrest a Hezbollah-linked group in the country, praising Lebanese Resistance group for its fight against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists.
He described Hezbollah as the symbol of power in the Arab world saying, if Hezbollah had not joined the fight against Daesh in Syria, now Daesh flag would have been raised in some Arab countries.
Iranian senior official said Bahrain should distance itself from Tel Aviv and build rapport with its own people.
Iran and Hezbollah have nothing to do with the serious crisis in Bahrain, he added.
Bahraini prosecutor's office recently claimed that it has arrested a four-member group affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah.
The group is accused of committing acts of sabotage and organizing demonstrations.
