Iranian rock climber wins 2017 China Open

The event was attended by 10 top world climbers. Alipour defeated his Chinese and Russian rivals.

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) China Open is a unique event designed by the Chinese Mountaineering Association (CMA) and IFSC based on the standard World Cup format but with some variations. The IFSC China Open will showcase Boulder, Lead and Speed with 3 rounds for each discipline.

Reza Alipour had earlier named as Usain Bolt of speed climbing.

Usain St Leo Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter. He is the first person to hold both the 100-meter and 200- meter world records since fully automatic time became mandatory.
