International Sports Press Association Asia Head visits IRNA

Amjad Aziz Malik who is currently in Tehran to meet with officials of Iran's Ministry of Sport and Youth, National Olympic Committee, and visit Azadi Sport Complex, today was briefed on news producing and publishing process in IRNA.

Describing Iranian media's role in covering important events as 'admirable', he urged a rise in interactions of the sport press to upgrade the quality of Asian sport media and increasing knowledge of the continent's sport writers.

Meanwhile, Aziz Malik, who is also the Secretary-General of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation and the Iranian Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth discussed holding educational seminars for Asian journalists, AIPS- Asia Congress 2018 as well as the conference of Asian Sports Press Union which is to be held in Islamabad on October 17.
