Terrorist blasts in Afghanistan leave 36 killed, 76 wounded

Head of Kabul hospitals Salim Rasouli told IRNA on Wednesday that the reports have been gathered from all hospitals in Kabul.

'Twin suicide blasts near the Afghan parliament during Tuesday afternoon rush hour killed and wounded several scores of people,' Western media reported.

Taliban claimed the responsibility of the twin blasts in Kabul.

About 30 members of parliament were killed in this attack.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi denounced the terrorist blasts in Kabul.

Qasemi sympathized with Afghanistan government and people as brothers and friends.

Afghanistan has also been suffering from chain attacks recently happening in Helmand and Kandahar as a result of which 7 civilians were killed and 10 wounded in Helmand.

The bomb planted in Kandahar also killed 11 including 5 diplomats from UAE and deputy governor general of Kandahar and wounded 12 people.
