Senior Afghan official: Daesh defeat, outcome of Muslims' efforts

Mohaqiq made the remarks in the Iranian central city of Qom addressing a number of Afghan immigrants living in Iran.

'Muslim fighters from different countries defended the Islamic borders and brought about defeat for Daesh,' the Afghan official said.

He expressed hope that Afghanistan will also get rid of the problems soon, noting that this rests upon the determination of all the Afghan people.
