Riyadh pressing Zionist regime to invade Lebanon: Nasrallah

Nasrallah made the remarks in a televised address on the occasion of Arbaeen.

'We have information that the Saudis have asked Israel to attack Lebanon and are ready to pay billions of dollars to Israel to do so,' Nasrallah said, adding that the 33-day Israeli war against Lebanon was also ignited upon a request by Saudi Arabia.

However, he noted that the Zionist regime is well aware that a war against Lebanon would be so much costly and therefore it would only seek to create seditions in Lebanon to put the country under pressure.

On Saudi claims that Iran has sent ballistic missiles to Yemen, delivering them to Hezbollah forces to target Saudi Arabia, Nasrallah said that these missile and the drones are built by the Yemenis themselves.

'If Hezbollah is the cause of Saudi defeat in Yemen, it translates into the fact that Hezbollah is so much great.'

On claims about Iran's alleged intervention in Lebanon, he said that Lebanon is not dependant on Iran.

'Iran enjoys influence in Lebanon but does not interfere in Lebanon's affairs, while Saudi Arabia has an influence and also interferes in the Lebanese affairs,' Nasrallah said.
