Iraq not getting involved in Trump’s anti-Iran policies: Iraqi FM

In an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC, al-Jaafari stressed that Iraq will not enter any country’s policies against the other.

He made the remarks in response to a question about Trump’s idea to form a new anti-Iran front and whether Iraq will ever participate in it.

Tehran has not attacked any areas in Iraq while the northern neighbor,Turkey, entered 110 km into Iraqi territory, however, Baghdad did continue relations with Ankara.

He went on to say that Iraq is a civilized country which does not follow a black and white attitude towards various questions.
