Iran Assyrian MP hails fall of Daesh terrorists

'In the absence of the guidelines by the invaluable Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, today there were no signs of integrity in Iraq and Syria and we could never witness the foiling of the hegemonist plots in the Middle East,' Yonatan Bet-Kolia said in a letter released on Thursday copy of which has been obtained by the Islamic Republic news Agency (IRNA).

The secretary general of the Assyrian Universal Alliance also named wisdom and resistance as two main characteristics possessed by 'the great Iranian people letting them to prevail in the world through history,' stressing that 'this was not possible without the guidelines set by the Supreme Leader,' Bet-Kolia added.

'Now the Assyrians, as a result of all efforts and sacrifices made by Iranian defenders under the commandership of Qasem Soleimani no longer suffer oppression at the hands of Daesh terrorists,' he said.
