FM Zarif meets Uzbek counterpart

According to Public and Media Diplomacy Department of Iranian Foreign Ministry, the meeting was held on the sidelines of the International Conference on Security and Sustainable Development in Central Asia.

Zarif heading a high-profile delegation arrived in Tajikistan on November 8.

In Tajikistan, he held talks with his Tajik counterpart Sirodjidin Mukhridinovich Aslov and also with Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon on bilateral ties and regional issues.

On the second leg of his tour, Zarif took arrived in Uzbekistan to attend International Conference on Security and Sustainable Development in Central Asia.

Earlier, Zarif held talks with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
