Iran, Ghana sign four cooperation documents

The documents were signed at the 6th joint economic commission meeting, which was attended by visiting Iranian Agricultural Jahad Minister Mahmoud Hojjati and Ghana Minister of Trade and Industry Hon Alan Kyerematen.

The two ministers also underscored that the next round of joint economic commission meeting would be held in Tehran.

As per the agreement, the two sides would cooperate in the fields of geomatics, sports, youth affairs as well as the extra-territorial cultivation.

The 6th joint economic commission inaugurated in Accra on Tuesday (Nov 14).

A 60-member Iranian delegation is accompanying Hojjati in his visit to Ghana.

The Iranian delegation included members from private and public sectors in the fields of trade, agriculture, economic, customs, energy, transport and construction.

The 5th joint commission was held in Tehran in 2014.
