Iran book fair opens in Kabul

The event will be going on for seven days with 70 Iranian and 30 Afghan publications on display.

Apart from the Afghan professors and students, a group of Iranian academics, the Iranian ambassador to Afghanistan, and some other Iranian officials attended the opening ceremony, as well.

The fair was organized by the Iranian cultural attaché office in Kabul.

Based on the request from Kabul, 90% of the books put to display are academic books, and cover almost all the curriculums taught at Kabul University.

The books are sold with discount in the fair, said Reza Maleki Iran's cultural attaché in Kabul.
