159 Iranian universities among Google Scholar top ones

Tehran University of Medical Sciences with 436 points was Iran’s top university and it also ranked first in Iran.

Tehran University, Tarbiat Modares University, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Sharif University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University and Iran University of Science and Technology ranked 2nd to 10th in Iran.

Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Released in beta in November 2004, the Google Scholar index includes most peer-reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers, theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly literature, including court opinions and patents.
